"INSIGHTOPEDIA 1.0" SHOWCASES RRCAT TECHNOLOGIES AND PROMOTES WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN INDORE

AIC π-Hub – a Section-8 company promoted by Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) DAE (Department of Atomic Energy) in collaboration with FICCI-FLO Indore Chapter, successfully organized "INSIGHTOPEDIA 1.0," an event aimed at creating awareness about the cutting-edge technologies developed by RRCAT and fostering the translation of these technologies into commercially competitive products and services. The event witnessed the active participation of forty-five women entrepreneurs from the city.
The inauguration address was delivered by Dr. Shankar V. Nakhe, Director of RRCAT and Chairman of AIC π-Hub, who provided a brief yet comprehensive overview of RRCAT technologies. Dr. Nakhe underscored the significance of technology transfer and incubation in fostering self-reliance and generating employment opportunities. He took this opportunity to invite women entrepreneurs to participate in the translation of RRCAT technologies through AIC π-Hub and contribute in nation building using indigenous technology. He also thanked Mrs. Mamta Bakliwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Indore Chapter, for accepting to be one of the members of the Board of Directors of AIC π-Hub.

Mrs. Mamta Bakliwal, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Indore Chapter, introduced the FICCI FLO Indore Chapter to the audience, highlighting their commitment to supporting initiatives that promote technological innovation and entrepreneurship. She emphasized that women play a pivotal role in nation-building and inspiring future generations, particularly girls, to pursue science and technology with enthusiasm rather than apprehension. She also shared that the insights into the STEM world at RRCAT is going to act as catalyst of change in their mindset and help them to overcome biases and fears of technology.
Dr. C P Paul, Head of AIC π-Hub, addressed the gathering, outlining the various partnership opportunities available to industries through AIC π-Hub. His presentation focused on aligning efforts with the mission of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat,' emphasizing the role of collaborations in achieving self-sufficiency.
The highlight of the event was the guided tours of various RRCAT laboratories, including liquid nitrogen-based refrigeration, laser additive manufacturing, laser cutting and welding, and the synchrotron radiation source (Indus-2). Participants gained firsthand insights into the groundbreaking technologies developed at RRCAT, showcasing the institution's commitment to innovation and excellence.

The insightful and interactive sessions provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between RRCAT, AIC π-Hub, FICCI FLO Indore Chapter, and the participating women entrepreneurs. The event concluded on a high note with a networking lunch at the RRCAT Guest House, providing a platform for further discussions and collaborations.
