April 4, 2025: AIC π-Hub signs Partnership MoU with HBNI
AIC RRCAT PI-HUB FOUNDATION and Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) signed an MoU to promote technology translations and establish a sustainable startup ecosystem. The MoU was signed by Prof. U Kamachi Mudali, Vice-Chancellor, HBNI, and Shri U D Malshe, Chairman, AIC π-Hub. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. A K Tyagi, Dean, HBNI; Dr. Christ P. Paul, Head, AIC π-Hub; Shri Daniel Babu, Head, AIC-Anushakti; and Associate Deans of HBNI.
This agreement aims to facilitate synergy between the incubation ecosystem of AIC π-Hub and the academic and research capabilities of HBNI. The intended outcomes of this collaboration include:
- Facilitating joint research endeavors.
- Providing support for entrepreneurial ventures incubated at AIC π-Hub through access to HBNI’s resources.
- Conducting joint skill development programs.
- Promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
- Supporting the translation of research into applicable technologies.
On the occasion of signing the MoU, Shri Unmesh D Malshe, Chairman AIC π-Hub said, “As part of the DAE family, HBNI is a natural partner to AIC π-Hub, and this formal MoU will further strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation activities among HBNI's constituent institutes.”
Prof. U Kamachi Mudali, Vice-Chacellor said, “This MoU marks a significant step in strengthening the ties between HBNI and AIC π-Hub. We are confident that this partnership will be instrumental in promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, leading to tangible benefits for our institutions and the nation.”
