AIM SUMVAAD | Collective Learning, Collective Strength
Feb 03, 2026 – The team from the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Incubators Association (DIA) - including AIC Anushakti–BARC, AIC IPR–Gandhinagar, AIC FAST–IGCAR, and AIC π-Hub–RRCAT—had a deeply enriching experience at AIM SUMVAAD, the flagship annual conclave of Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog.

What stood out for us:
- Peer learning at scale: Insights from 150+ incubators across India strengthened our understanding of best practices in incubation, governance, and impact.
- Deep-tech focus: Strong alignment with DAE incubators’ mandate—research to revenue, IP commercialization, and startup scaling.
- Policy-to-practice clarity: Sessions on TRLs, government support mechanisms, and the evolving role of incubators as Technology Transfer Organizations were especially valuable.
- Ecosystem building: Meaningful conversations with industry, CSR leaders, policymakers, and fellow incubators opened doors for future collaborations.
A big appreciation to AIM and its dedicated team for curating a high-impact platform that doesn’t just inspire—but equips incubators to deliver outcomes at national scale. The conclave truly reinforced the capabilities and collective strength of DAE incubators, and our shared commitment to advancing India’s deep-tech and innovation journey.
